Booking a Course
To book the course follow these instructions:
For all certificated courses, candidates require registration to the
Snowsport Scotland Coaching Scheme. First time registrations cost £38 (or £35
by Direct Debit) which includes log book and the benefits outlined
here. If you are already a member of the Coaching
Scheme, please quote your current membership number.
Please note that membership of the Snowsport Scotland Coaching Scheme
should be renewed annually, for £38 (Direct Debit £35). Failure to renew will
mean that your qualification is not valid and you will not be covered by Snowsport Scotland insurance or included on the published list of qualified
members.
Lift passes may not be included in course fees unless stated by the Course
Organiser.
Funding may be available for attending one of the Snowsport Scotland
courses from your local Sports Council, local Enterprise Company or your Ski
Club. Ask for details from your local Council or check the telephone
directory.
Snowsport Scotland operates an equal opportunities policy within the
Coaching Scheme and all other areas of operation.
Cancellation
Snowsport Scotland and our Tutors will endeavour to deliver courses where
snow conditions and weather allow. The Course Organiser will inform candidates
when circumstances dictate that the course will not proceed. Cancellation fees
and refunds are made at the discretion of the Course Organiser.
For course run by Snowsport Scotland there is a cancellation fee of 10% of
the full amount up until 4 weeks prior to the course. This rises to 50% for
cancellations between 8 and 4 weeks before the course, and no refund with less
than 4 weeks notice of cancellation. |
