Unfortunately, as a result of unfavourable weather conditions, both the men's
Giant Slalom races (including the Scottish National Championship race) were
cancelled.
The Kirsteen McGibbon Shield (The K.I.M Shield) is awarded in the memory of
the GB racer who died several years ago in a training accident. This year's
ladies shield was awarded to Pam Thorburn for her Senior Scottish Native first
place in the ladies Giant Slalom. The men's award went to Alain Baxter for his
Senior Scottish Native first place in the Slalom.
